I’m a freelance self-taught illustrator drawing with pencil on paper. born in uppsala in 1988, where I started illustrating for a youth magazine as a teenager, then for other magazines and cultural institutions in Sweden, before moving to Berlin in 2010.
Back in 2020, while working at the Humboldt University and studying Gender Studies / Cultural Anthropology, I got the lucky chance to once again get payed for what I had never stopped doing: to draw all the stuff going on in my head. Since 2022, I’ve illustrated for taz, die tageszeitung, a daily newspaper in Germany.

“Jycken” is an oldfashioned word for “the dog” in swedish and the nickname I have in my family. My happy place atm is my new project “dooghood is a spectrum” (WT), an autoethnographic graphic novel.
